American Exports: Johnson, PNE blow lead

AMSTERDAM— Preston North End forward Eddie Johnson worked 65 active minutes, but the visitors squandered a two-goal lead to settle for a 2-2 draw at Watford.

The US international, on loan from Fulham, went closest to scoring just before his departure by firing slightly over from a right-wing cross.

The draw snapped the dead-last Lilywhites' three-game losing streak and nudged them to within nine points of a safety in the English Championship.
